Biography
Dr. Xiaolei Xie is an associate professor in the Department of Industrial Engineering, Tsinghua University. He obtained his Ph.D. degree in Industrial and Systems Engineering in May 2014 from University of Wisconsin, Madison. His research focuses on improving healthcare system and production system using Industrial Engineering approaches, which emphasizes the translational impact through effective collaboration with involved practitioners. His research aims at providing insights and uncovering fundamental rules that reside in healthcare, production and other service systems with similar problem structures.
